Then there was the hopper who collected pie wrappers from each ground visit. Northern, obviously.
The story also alleged that he had to have them signed as well.
We saw him in action at Prestwich Heys some years back
Yes, I'll confirm this, he was at Hindsford some years ago, can't confirm the signing bit though.

Do crankers include every single siding as well?
Yes some of the specials out of Crewe , Steam/Diesel etc did their best to try and cover some freight lines / sidings etc for such people.

Cranking been around as long as I can remember

It's ticking off Greggs for me. Another avenue of pleasure that's currently been taken away.

Databases for football, rugby league and rugby union records, (actually all on the same one, just different pages), pubs visited in Sheffield, (no coffee involved), postcards, beermats, football club details, (updated every season with clubs I expect to visit and then inevitable don't), Brooke Bond tea cards, programmes.

Most of these were done while at "work" creating other databases!!

Tried to remember pubs I've been to in other parts of GB but gave up.

Obviously, at some point all this was written down and football records still are.

There used to be a guy who lived near you somewhere who was on TV once who ate everything on the menu in one sitting at all the Chinese and Indians he went to, he's dead now, unsurprisingly!!

To celebrate 100 years of Midland Red in Banbury at least one Stagecoach bus has been painted in Midland Red livery and with the Midland Red name. They are on the Banbury to Brackley and Brackley to Bicester service.

The South Midlands name has also reappeared, though I think it is just part of the Heyfordian group. The livery is not correct.

My wife has always shown disdain for my hobby, so imagine my delight when I found that she had a list of all the BT Exchange buildings she has worked in.

She still gets excited when she sees a new one.

I suppose I am as bad as the rest.. Just found a pie wrapper. FOUR 'N TWENTY Meat Pie. The great Australian Taste. Got it in Sydney but in my defence it has no signature on it.😜

Perhaps Chris 1963 would like to join this debate as he inspired it. So therefore Chris, how many bus routes have you done and how many are on your list to do?
