To continue the previous thread on this topic:

The various moves and one-off venues mentioned in the old thread have already happened, the one remaining issue being doubt as to who has fixture priority at The Hive, London Bees being the longer-standing tenants but Spurs being in the higher division. There is no clash in the FA Cup 4th round, as Bees have been drawn away.

New news: Swindon Town Women (tier 4) have ended their ground-share with Fairford and have moved to Foundation Park, the new STFC community facility, on the "County Ground Extension" site where various Wiltshire League sides played over the years. It's a 3G pitch and at present they seem to be the only team using the venue for matches that will be open to the public.

Meanwhile, for anyone interested in a cheap way to tick The Valley, Charlton Athletic Women have announced their home game vs London Bees on 22 March (14:00) will be moved there. As usual, the lower level of the West Stand will be open. £7, or £4 concessions.

On Sunday I like to watch Aylesbury Utd Ladies. The level is low so it is park football. Chesham Ladies play at the main ground in Chesham on a well maintained pitch , which right for their level

For the remainder of this season (since 24th November) Sheffield United Women (Championship) are playing their home games at Chesterfield's Proact Stadium. This is presumably due to the work on turning the Olympic Legacy Park into a proper ground which means Sheffield Eagles RLFC playing their first three home games at Doncaster RUFC.

Chorley (National One North) have moved home games to Croston, with last Sunday's game against Durham Cestria being the first there. However today's match against Newcastle United has been moved to a 3G at Edge Hill University, due to an unfit pitch.

To correct my earlier post: it now seems that Swindon have NOT moved from Fairford to Foundation Park for first team matches, their remaining games after today are all advertised as at Fairford. The game today was move to Foundation Park to get access to the 3G pitch so it could be played, but other than that it would seem the Exeter game in January was a 1-off celebration of the facility opening, not a permanent move.

Everton play their first match at the revamped Walton Hall Park 3G this Sunday 23rd February vs Manchester United (1230). The capacity for this game is limited to 1,500 - will hold over 2,200 when all the work is finished. Tickets (£6/£3 concessions) must be bought in advance as no tickets will be available at the ground on the day.

Dorchester Town FC
Seems like Yeovil Women's FC have moved from Dorchester Town FC to Bridgewater College for their games. Apparently the club put out details of the game home to Plymouth this sunday 23-2-2020 on Friday night saying it has been switched to Bridgewater College where they are based and train. A few supporters based around Dorchester (and eastwards) are saying they were contacted as late as Thursday about sponsorship/ replica kits etc with no mention of the switch of venues.
Yeovil Women have put out a statement on facebook yesterday saying its after a review of the club since being taken over in the summer and a move to their home County is behind the move. But Bridgewater is further from Yeovil than Yeovil is to Dorchester and a lot of supporters from Dorchester area ( and eastwards Poole direction) who went to support/sponsor etc Yeovil women last & this year were not told about it till they found out on social media. Some are saying it's just like the club wants to move to their training base and not care about the supporters based to the east, some are saying there is no facilities for Drinks/hot food at the new ground so hardly a good move for the supporters. No doubt someone will come on and give a true explanation
Even Dorchester FC didn't seem to know anything about at the home game yesterday when a quiet word was asked so maybe done without their knowledge.

Gillingham v Yeovil Town this Sunday 1st March is being played at Victory Academy, Chatham ME4 5JB according to Fulltime. Think this is just a one-off as all their remaining home games after are still listed for Chatham Town FC.

Also in National League South, Portsmouth Women are playing their remaining home matches at Gosport Borough's Privett Park presumably due to the state of the pitch at Baffins Milton Rovers which has seen them play only two home league matches.

Yeovil Women have now announced they have moved to Bridgewater College for the reminder of the season according to Dorchester FC. It would seem it is purely down to Financial reasons as they were well supported from the surrounding area even after dropping down the leagues.
