Not surprised he's gone Dave as he had no budget and players leaving for other clubs at regular intervals meant he had very little chance of turning things around.

He has posted a statement on his Twitter feed @jackdacat in which he thanks players and supporters but is otherwise less than complimentary. The gist being, what's the point in having a Step 4 club if you give the manager no playing budget at all.

Either he knew that when he took over, in which case he knew what he was getting into. Or he was promised some dosh which didn't materialise. which is naughty.

No sign of any announcement yet as to his replacement.

Tommy Miller has left his role as Manager of Spennymoor Town after seven months.

Miller, 42, has been at the club as Assistant Manager since 2016, before taking the Management reins from Jason Ainsley in April 2021.

Assistant Manager Stuart Parnaby has also left his position at the club.

Club’s an absolute mess - well over fifty players used already this season and more managers than victories! They’d already called an EGM before today’s departure, and I really do fear for them. Fingers crossed..

Cymru Premier club Haverfordwest County's Manager Wayne Jones stood down after the weekend's defeat at Flint. A good club man who left on good terms. The squad was left short of numbers from the Transfer deadline at the end of the summer and another first choice player left. That made life difficult when injuries piled up too but player numbers/strength may well be sorted out in January.
Could be a good opportunity for the right manager.

The money has gone at Cov and with it numerous players. If ever there was a club suffering from delusions of grandeur this is the one. Moved to a stadium they had no need to move to as they believed that three quick promotions would be followed by three more in an equally quick period of time. God knows how much rent they are chucking away per season hiring Butts but it would be better spent elsewhere within the club, or better still shut the club down and the fans can all bugger off back to where they belong..

Do you know why the money has gone? I wondered when the current owner of the club acquired it (a year or two ago) how he could afford to bankroll it. As far as I now he just owns a pub, the Albany, and I can't see how that would fund his ambitions.
And yes, the Butts Park Arena is far to big for the level of football. It just doesn't have the "non-league" atmosphere, and, even though it's my closest ground, I rarely venture there.

Colin Millard removed by Farnham Town. His assistant has also gone. No-one expected to be in situ before the midweek fixture.

At the time we were told that the intention was to take over from Coventry City when they moved out of the Ricoh and out of the city, obviously they have now moved back so that has thrown a big spanner in the works. As you say the other problem has been that they have no ground of their own.

ROCHESTER UNITED chairman Matt Hume has temporarily regained the managers role after dispensing with Phil Miles following an emergency board meeting.

The Rede Court Road outfit are in the bottom five in the Southern Counties East Football League First Division table, having collected 17 points from 15 games and are two points adrift of the relegation zone, which is currently occupied by Forest Hill Park, Meridian VP and Chessington & Hook.

The Spartans were without a game yesterday but went down to a 1-0 home defeat to Tooting Bec eight days ago.

Miles was in charge of the club for 20 games in all competitions, winning seven of them, drawing three and losing 10.
