All gone mad at Peterborough Northern Star- manager sacked but only after he had (according to social media)
• Releases entire squad via WhatsApp after inviting them for beer in middle of lockdown
• Signs host of new players, a number from 6 or 7 steps below and a defender who never trains & signs elsewhere
• Big interview in paper
• Sacked

He had also taken over all the club social media accounts and changed the passwords
I like him already

It was Scott Goodwin who released all players on getting job via WhatsApp on May 17th.... Strange goings-on indeed with PNS releasing a statement saying that.... Club is also asking everyone who follows twitter account to pay no attention as they have lost control and are currently finding a way to rectify it. Anything posted on official account is not by themselves.

Barnet head coach Darren Currie and his assistant Junior Lewis have left the National League club.

Currie, who succeeded John Still as Bees boss in late December 2018, has been linked with the vacant manager's role at Southend United.

Currie was turned down for the role according to local press over this way, as was former Southend manager Steve Tilson.

He has been in talks with Southend since last week....

Replaced by former Solihull Moors manager Tim Flowers.
Interesting appointment as Macclesfield seem a basket case club at the moment. Tim Flowers obviously did very well at Solihull, and is a very credible appointment so I can only assume he knows something we don’t ?
