Barrow have sacked Michael Jolley (after 60 not so jolly days in charge) and appointed Rob Kelly as caretaker until the end of the season. Kelly had a brief spell earlier between Dunn & Jolley.

They are in free fall and had to do something. Would be sad to see Barrow relegated after just one season, especially as many of their fans will have never seen them play league football.

Joey Barton has been appointed as Bristol Rovers's third permanent manager of the season.

Meanwhile, Bradford City have permanently appointed joint managers Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars who had been in temporary then interim charge since December.

And twice in one day by the looks of it!

Given a contract until 2023. Presumably has an escape clause in it, seeing as his court trial is still pending.

Failing that, would a "get out of jail free" card do - or does he actually need to escape

Tempting fate maybe, but I'd have thought that a good appointment.

Hope he has better luck than his predecessor with the number of players on the injury list.

Just looked up the dictionary definition of permanent and one of the descriptions is "stable".

The latter isn't a word that springs to mind in relation to either The Gas or their new manager. 💣

Still whether or not Rovers succeed in their fight against relegation, it looks like they'll provide entertainment of one sort or another. 😯

Trouble is with Col U, they just seem to keep promoting from within....They will have to break that cycle I think in order to give themselves a chance as they are getting sucked right into the relegation dog fight.

Driven out by religious bigots no doubt. Oh well, at least it now gives him plenty of time to visit a dentist. Horrible individual!!
I think the religious bigots wanted him to stay as long as possible.

Wayne Brown now in temporary charge. General opinion is, if last summer's appointment was to be another internal, it should have been Wayne rather then Steve.

A strange one with Lennon. Two league titles, continuing the clubs run to 9 titles in a row two Scottish Cups and a league cup to complete a quadruple treble and this season they are second in the Premiership and look certain of a Champions League place, just having one bad season in many a year but this is football so being so having one bad season see;s him resign, or was he pushed?

But in the flip side, he picked up the first league title which was handed to him by Brendan Rogers. So essentially he had one good year and one year when the title was lost before the split. In a league where you only have two teams that can win it, to be so many points behind is unacceptable. Rangers progression in Europe compared to Celtic’s performance won’t have helped either. Was he pushed? Yes.
