Worksop Town installing a new all weather pitch at the moment. Will be ready for next season, whenever that turns out to be!
So they've gone from having to find 30K to survive to now being able to install a 4G ? I see groundsharers Handsworth are putting plastic down at their Shefifeld base hoping to return there asap.

Pete Whitehead who originally put out the appeal for the £30K is the ground owner so is he paying for the 4G? Elsewhere on the artificial pitch front there seems to be little progress at RC Warwick as there was a photo a couple of weeks ago showing the pitch being reseeded. Kirby Muxloe started ripping up the grass surface today and everything looks fine for an August finish.

I don’t think clubs pay for plastic pitches. The Football Foundation do

Clubs still have to raise a considerable amount of money on top of the grants that are available. If it was that easy there would not be many playing on grass.

Where will Havant & Waterlooville play their home Play-Off Semi-Final on 25th July? If they don't start work on their new 3G pitch until after that game I doubt it will be ready in time for the start of next season.

They say Westleigh Park and without knowing the start date of the new season it's safe to say that the new pitch wouldn't be ready anyway. Seems a strange time of the year to announce and start such a venture unless it was down to financing . Why not leave it until next summer?
