None in particular
The running track factor, plus there is no raised area from which to view is a big part. However, when I went, about ten years ago for a London APSA game, there was nowhere to get a cuppa , no clubhouse, nothing. The fact there was no programme was an inevitable insignificance.

According to a tweet from the SWPL Holsworthy are working on plans to move to a more compliant ground. No timescale indicated.

Perhaps understandable as half of it is out of bounds but it'd be a shame to lose Upcott Field, a ground I like and which has a certain charm.

Good to see that the club are not only calling for the town to have two football grounds, but also for the subways underneath the nearby roundabout to be retained for safety reasons. Too many councils are closing subways and filling them in for no reason except because they think it is fashionable to do so.

An update on Alvechurch from Sunday's Non-League Paper:

Last week, they announced that they had received funding approval to start work on their new 3G pitch at The Hayes.

The state-of-the-art community football facility will initially house the club's junior and women's teams and is the first phase of an ambitious plan at the South Birmingham site.

Further down the line, the first team will relocate there. The owners of Alvechurch's current home, Lye Meadow, are seeking planning permission for houses on the site and funds from the sale to developers would help the club build their new stadium at The Hayes.

Just think of all the confusion there's going to be when Carshalton Athletic are forced to change the address of their ground!

As reported on the Other Sports thread, Sale Sharks eggchasers have unveiled plans to move back to their home town and build a new stadium at Crossford Bridge just off the M60/A56 junction.

The significance of this for football is that Old Altrinchamians of the Manchester League play at an enclosed ground on the site behind the athletics track while the wider playing fields on the rest of the site are used by Sale United FC who AKAIK don't have an adult mens team apart from U21's but do have an open age ladies team, so the future of both these clubs could be under threat from this development.

From the new issue of Traveller:
The forthcoming 2020/21 season will be the last at the Memorial Ground for Southwell City's senior teams. The Notts Senior League club will be creating a Step 6 ground by redeveloping and upgrading the existing Centenary Ground on Fiskerton Road, Brinkley. The Memorial Ground will become a junior football hub with the current first team pitch split into a number of junior pitches. As the Memorial Ground is effectively a public park, it can't be fenced off to create an enclosed ground required for hosting Step 6 football.
