By what logic, if any, have Walsham -le-Willows ended up with the South East teams in Zone 4? At least they they don't face a trip to the south coast.

They were replaced by Leighton Town who are away to Mildenhall Town, not a million miles away from Walsham-le-Willows.

Third Round tie between North Ferriby and Seaham Red Star is to be replayed as the home club have been found to have used an ineligible player in the original match which they won 7-6 on penalties.

On the 19th December, 10 days prior to the Seaham tie the FA confirmed that Iwan Heeley was eligible to play in the fixture. On the 22nd January, the FA acknowledged that North Ferriby had been given misinformation.

As a consequence, the FA regulatory advocate confirmed the club had dillingently taken all reasonable efforts to establish eligibility and were exonerated. In such circumstances, the competitions sub-committee deemed there was no grounds to expel North Ferriby, yet ordered a replay.

As a club secretary, this is my greatest fear regarding cup competitions.

After the announcement that the League season has been curtailed the FA has informed clubs that it is the intention that the 1920/21 FA Vase shall continue. The competition will resume at the earliest opportunity, meaning all clubs should prepare to resume playing in early April.

1920-1 was before the Vase started, surely? ;)
