Andy Smith, former lead singer with Mental as Anything as died of a heart attack at the age of 63

The feeling of utter devastation when you pick up your mug and realise you already finished your tea.

Bob Willis, England, Warwickshire and Surrey cricketer and latterly commentator passed away this afternoon. A real character who will be very sadly missed.

Irish actor Niall Toibin has died at the age of 89, just a week short of his ninetieth birthday.

A serious stage actor, but probably best known for appearing as Father MacAnally in 'Ballykissangel'. He also made one-off appearances in 'Boon' in 1992, and as a priest in the 1994 episode of Ray Daley-era 'Minder' called 'The Immaculate Contraption'

Remember Niall Toibin best for his character Lively in the canal barge set 1990's comedy drama Stay Lucky alongside Dennis Waterman and Jan Francis.

Broadcaster James Montgomery has died aged 74. Those living in the south may remember him as a presenter on regional news programmes in the 70's and 80's - Day By Day (Southern) and Coast To Coast (TVS). He also presented a show called 'Music In Camera' and was a founder and director of radio station Ocean Sound, which spawned into Ocean FM (now Heart) and Power FM (now Capital).
