From one of the newspaper archives from September 1977 a merger for the new season of East Leake Rangers & East Leake Amateurs to run 4 teams 3 in the North Leicestershire Association Football League, the first, the reserves and the B and 1 in the Nottingham & District Football League, the A team. Training at Gotham Road playing field.

East Leake Robins currently playing in the North Leicestershire League at Costock Road. No idea what if any connection they have with what you are looking for but rambler 77 will certainly know and will doubtless be of help when he picks this one up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!!!

I don't know a great deal about them, but I believe the Robins are nothing to do with any of the previous clubs to play out the village.

Looking at the North Leicestershire League on FT, they joined in 2016 and have worked their way up the dwindling divisions.

They use the Costock Road playing fields along with Rushcliffe FC (Notts & Midland Amateur Alliance) and the local cricket club.
The Robins are also active on twitter.

I know there's a very good micropub in East Leake if that helps Andrew.
I'd go in there and ask if I were me.

You probably won't get an answer, but that might not matter
