Just a word of warning to any collectors who may be tempted down to the excellent Dagenham & Redbridge programme shop by messages such as the one that appeared on the club website before Saturday's match stating that the shop would be open from noon. Due to a large number of donations and lack of storage space, the shop is not actually open to browse around. Current season stock and a few sundry boxes are displayed outside for purchase, but the shop itself is completely inaccessible.

That's a shame, although not a surprise. Whereas most programme shops have items priced sensibly, and the likes of me turn up and buy dozens at a time, the prices in the D&R shop are eye-watering. I imagine he only sells a fraction of what he should be shifting. There's far better value to be found from many of the dealers at the West London Programme Fair.
