Am I alone in thinking it remarkable that the chairman of the Spectator, Andrew Neil, can't get an interview with the ex-editor of the Spectator, Boris Johnson, when the man pulling Johnson's strings, Dominic Cummings, is married to the deputy editor of the Spectator, Mary Wakefield? The electorate is being treated like mugs and only just over half of them even realise it.

I've been reading the HP for years and unless i'm blind any story connected with the tories is always a negative one so yes it's left leaning which is the point (an obvious one i thought) i was making which you neatly sidestepped, but here's a few pointers for you. 1.I can't stand Boris he's wrong for the country and he's wrong for the conservatives. 2.The only papers i read are the Non League Paper & the Lincolnshire Free Press and unless i've missed something politics isn't their strong point. 3.Seamus Milne is to Labour what Dominic Cummings is to the Conservatives 4.I'm all for truth but as this election shows politicians have nothing worthwhile to say and if they did you've heard it a million times before whilst thinking mmm i don't believe you. We are in an era of endless platitudes and bland 'don't mean a thing' soundbites. The death of democracy, real politicians, objectivity and the ability to listen to other peoples views is happening before a very eyes . HO HO HO!!!!!!

This isn't opinion or misrepresentation which is what our right wing media specialise in. This was a factual account. Were you expecting the Mail to publicise them. I think you would be disappointed. There's a few things you don't get. NOTHING is more important than Getting Brexit Done No amount of give aways can bribe the British electorate to accept Anti-Semitism No one cares if a Tory toff spouted a bit of exclusivist claptrap a decade or more ago. You are peeing against the wind , PaulC , because Labour has been disregarding the working class for far too long and far from being the thickos you keep saying they are, they are astute enough to know disrespect from Lefty Toffs when they see it.

There's a few things you don't get. NOTHING is more important than Getting Brexit Done . It might be to you, but the majority of the electorate still doesn’t want to leave the EU. The only hard, legal and undisputable evidence of the electorate's views on Leaving the EU is the result of the 2016 referendum. Any thing else is either speculation, guesswork, crystal ball gazing, hope over reality, disingenuity or lies........

The electorate is being treated like mugs and only just over half of them even realise it. I'm sure most people would regard it as a good tactical manoeuvre by Johnson after Corbyn's car crash interview. Neil is the best at what he does. Neil is indeed and that is why Johnson's retreat is seen as cowardice. I wouldn't put it past the lying charlatan to agree to an interview once it's too late for any postal votes to be in. Incidentally, overheard in a pub in a Labour voting constituency in the north of England tonight - "Some people don't have a good word for Johnson, but I do. Twat!"

So Corbyn is accused of anti-semitism because he may have mispronounced the name of a Kiddy Fiddler! I have actually heard some people pronounce the word Mountain as Molehill!
I need to have the last word, as it always looks as if I am right !

In the C4 Leaders’s debate, to discuss the greatest threat to our planet, climate change, Chicken Johnson sends his dad along. Had there ever been a more cowardly PM. Squeaky bum at the thought of being interviewed by a fellow Tory. Sends his dad to speak on his behalf. Wake up Britain.

What an absolute shower of idiots we are in this country No, if it happens it shows what a shower of shit our opposition politicians are. People aren't idiots they are sick and tired of 3 years of being taken for mugs by Corbyn, Swinson and Remainer liar MP's. Given that we don’t want Brexit that makes no sense at all. Johnson makes Theresa May look brave and competent.

I had been looking forward to the Channel4 debate since it was first announced, no more than that this was my one absolute must see debate of the electoral campaign. I expected to hear seven party leaders but only five political parties consider the climate emergency sufficiently important to have participated, leaders of two others opted out. A leader who is not prepared to justify his party policy on the existential issue facing the world isn't fit to be sitting in number 10 Downing Street. Then again the reality is that the people in this country who need action to safeguard the future the most are those who are not old enough to vote on 12th December. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that there are five political parties standing who accept that we have an emergency to deal with. Further proof tonight it is imperative to stop Johnson and deny the Conservative Party a platform to confiscate the future of our young.

Just listen to Johnson and watch his body language when asked if he will submit to interview from Neil. He’s utterly appalling. UK has two weeks to come to its senses. https://twitter.com/...132411834548224?s=21

When the opposition is Corbyn, everyone in this country needs to hope and pray the Tories win.

Are you human or just an automaton picking up algorithms so you don’t have to make the effort of actually reading people’s posts. Why would I care if the mail publicises anything if I don’t actually read it!! It’s bad enough that you belittle, patronise and condescend towards other posters but if you’re going to lambaste me at least have the decency to read my posts properly.

I have a feeling that China,India,Brazil,Indonesia and the Black Sea polluters aren’t really going to lose any sleep over who the next prime minster is going to be, maybe all five of them could send Bolsonaro & friends some saplings in the post.
