This is due totally to the running costs of the club. The falling income and rising costs are not sustainable to the running of the club."

Terrible shame. A remarkably friendly club when I visited.

St Mark's Park has been attacked by vandals on several occasions, which has got to be disheartening for the good folks running the club.


Sounds to me like a rallying cry, early enough for someone to step in and rescue the club.


But whether there's anybody out there willing and able to do so, is another question.




If the worst comes to the worst for Craigroyston, St Mark's Park might make a more-local home for Leith Athletic, rather than their current residency down at Peffermill.
