Jan Siewert has been sacked by Huddersfield Town following this evenings defeat to Fulham. As ever with these situations, you do wonder if he was only four games away from the sack, why he was given the whole summer with the players? Happens every year and I never understand it.
Very unfair sacking as well, he should have been given more time, especially when the new chairman and Jan kept on talking about having a three transfer window transition to get the squad to their liking.
I supported Jan since the day he arrived, it wasn’t the easiest first few months for him last season but I was confident he would turn it round this season and get into the top half of the table.
As for his successor, I don’t know who will replace him to be honest. There is one manager I would like, but he has just started a new job in the Bundesliga.

Shades of Graham Jones leaving Luton for Stoke? Now official. As a club they're arguably a good fit with the Cowleys but there's an awful lot of work needed to reshape and turn that squad around. Their impact at Lincoln was pretty immediate and they'll need that again.
Heartbreaking for some.
