Have had a quick look at the leagues around that area that I know of. Craven & District aren't playing on that weekend, North Lancs full time doesn't have fixtures on it but looking at Ingleton FC website shows they don't have a fixture on that weekend either. Is there some sort of cup competition that's being played or do these leagues tend to miss out Bank Holiday Saturday?

Slyne-with-Hest appear to be the closest game on the way up on the motorway, spotted some West Lancs game in the Kendal area but would prefer to not go that far north. Are there any other leagues or games that way closer by?

If you go to the North Lancs League Full Time website and look at the news items youíll see one of them is a link the August and September fixtures.

Cheers, mustíve missed that when looking the first time around. Kirkby Lonsdale now looking like the best bet.

KL will be your closest, but if you can make it I'd suggest Millhead as the best ground, it's quite a setting in an old quarry just outside Carnforth. There is cover too.

Thanks for the help/ground recommendations. Won't be going up this weekend any more due my friend being in work but will keep it in mind for whenever we decide to go up to that area again.
