A tape measure will be required to confirm but I have my doubts as to whether this complies with FA rules on sponsors' logos:

The following Advertising is permitted:

(i) Playing kit

(a) On the Clothing of a Player on the field of play, the following areas shall be permitted to be used for Advertising

One single area not exceeding 250 square centimetres on the front of the shirt

I think this is a joke from Paddy Power, our new kit was always going to be revealed tonight before our friendly against Rochdale.

Huddersfield have tweeted a picture of their dressing room (ahead of the game tonight) with the shirts and full kit and they have the PP logo on. Iíve seen someone on there has spotted thereís another shirt behind, so weíll soon find out!

The FA are checking into it.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49026053

Whether or not it contravenes the rules you have to feel sympathy for Town's supporters. Purely from an aesthetic point of view, the shirt is dreadful. Painful on the eyes.

Mind you, it may be that it's a one off deliberate ploy by Huddersfield & Paddy Power. Paddy Power will get more publicity from it being banned than if they'd stuck to the rules on advertising on shirts.

Why would Huddersfield involve themselves in such a pathetic stunt (it indeed it is one) they hardly need the publicity which was bound to backfire and have their own fans in uproar. If this is the new strip and gets approval from the FA the sales will be interesting.

I quite like the look of the sash, but of course it's ruined by the scummy betting company being splattered over it.

Whilst looking at other hideous kits I must say I quite admired Cultural Leonesaís tuxedo.

The Spanish have quite a track record for ridiculous kits. Club Deportivo Palencia Balompie's 2016 offering makes even Paddy Power seem tasteful by comparison... https://qz.com/...esque-and-unnerving/

Well it certainly had the desired effect for PP but club have announced that they will be playing this season in a shirt clear of any sponsors.

Could Huddersfield get around rules/regulations/public opinion regarding having a betting company logo on their shirts by just have the letters "PP" on the shirts, maybe similar in size has the club badge? or maybe a photo of Ryan Giggs brother on their shirts.

They were certainly "PP" last season so why not.

Perhaps they could try that trick with Preston North End, they already have PP on the club badge.

A pity that the numbers on the Huddersfield shirts are not as readable as the logo was; easily the most illegible numbers out there.
