The draft constitution has been released, pending promotion decisions and ratification at the AGM -

Premier Division

Abergele
Bro Cernyw
Llandudno Amateurs*
Llandudno Athletic*
Llanelwy Athletic (promoted)
Llanfairfechan Town
Llansannan*
Machno United
Meliden (resigned from Welsh Alliance)
Rhos United (promoted)
Rhuddlan Town
Y Glannau (promoted)

First Division

Betws y Coed
Cerrigydrudion (relegated)
Denbigh Development
Henllan
Llanfairfechan Town Res
Llysfaen
North Football Association (new)
Old Colwyn (relegated)
Penrhyn Bay Dragons
Prestatyn Town Development (new)
Rhyl All Stars (new)
Towyn Park Rangers (new)
Trefnant Village (new)

* - one of these 3 teams will be promoted to the Welsh Alliance.

Rhuddlan Town Res and St Asaph City Res have dropped out of the league.

Of the new teams, NFA and TPR appear to be predominantly youth teams which are looking to progress to open age. NFA play in the Prestatyn area AFAIK.

Two thoughts,

1) An 11-13 split between the two divisions seems a bit odd.
2) Can Old Colwyn manage 24 league games in a season when this season and last has shown that 18 games is a bit of a stretch for them.

Old Colwyn have folded since my original post (see elsewhere on this forum), so it's now an 11-12 split.

Thanks Bantam, there hadn't been anything about it on the facebook or website. Shame, though as you say they had been struggling to field a team for a while, wasn't it only 8 players that started against Llandudno Amateurs?

Does this have an impact on the promotion race, you indicate above that there's still a doubt, Athletic still had to play Old Colwyn and either expunging Old Colwyn's record or awarding Athletic a win would put them above Llansannan for 2nd place.

Expunging Old Colwyn's record wouldn't make much else difference, Bro Cernyw would get ahead of Rhuddlan into 5th place and it would rob Cerrigydrudion of their two wins. But I think it would be a good tribute to Old Colwyn to keep their place in this season's table, they did get to play 16 of their 18 games.

Old Colwyn's record has been expunged, meaning that Llandudno Amateurs have been confirmed as champions.

Updated constitution following the AGM -

Premier Division

Abergele
Bro Cernyw
Cerrigydrudion
Llandudno Athletic
Llanelwy Athletic (promoted)
Llanfairfechan Town
Llansannan
Machno United
Meliden (resigned from Welsh Alliance)
Rhos United (promoted)
Rhuddlan Town
Y Glannau (promoted)

First Division

Betws y Coed
Denbigh Development
Henllan
Llanfairfechan Town Res
Llysfaen
North Football Association (new)
Penrhyn Bay Dragons
Llandudno Amateurs Res (new)
Rhyl All Stars (new)
Towyn Park Rangers (new)

Since the draft constitution was announced, Old Colwyn have folded and Cerrigydrudion have had their relegation reversed. Trefnant and Prestatyn Town Development have not joined the league, but Llandudno Amateurs Res have. The latter's first team are promoted to the Welsh Alliance.

To balance things up a bit, Machno have voluntarily dropped from the Premier to Div. 1. Now an 11-10 split.
