Ground Grading, Who Passed and Who Failed Can't Post or Reply Privately

With yesteday’s deadline for promoted clubs to have their grounds graded, is there any news of who passed and who failed?

I've been following step 7 and know what info has already been shared on here but would be interested to know about the other steps. The FA are unlikely to release a single statement of who passed/failed so it will probably be a case of piecing it together on here.
Only club I know that have openly said that they won't meet the changing room size requirement and accept relegation is Aylesbury. However I still don't know what they hoped to achieve by being so open.

Yes a few have moaned about the changing rooms even though it was announced in 2015. When Poole were at Kings Langley this season we were told they could not meet the new regulations. Of course they are now in the play-off position.

Barton Rovers have passed. They had to remove a urinal from the away team dressing room to do so, but one less urinal and 50cm square of space saved is obviously want the regulators want to see...

Can't say with 100% certainty just yet, but if what I was told on Saturday is true then we've just about done enough at Yaxley to pass the ground grading this season and retain our place at Step 4 for next season.

Good to here so many success stories. I still remember
the heartache when Poole were denied promotion to Step 4 2 years running over ground grading.

We were promoted in place of Fleetwood Town back in 2004 because they failed the ground grading required to go up. They went up the following year and never looked back.

What needed doing? I visited earlier in the season with Aylesbury Utd and I thought it was more than adequate for step 4.

More seats were needed (and a 50-seater stand has now been added, combined from the two bike-shelter esque covers), an additional turnstile was needed and a fence needed to be built to reduce the gap from the hedges behind the ground and the ground itself. All of this has been done (though the fence only covers half the length of the pitch, but this seems to be fine) so it's certainly adequate now in the eyes of the FA.

As long as the hedge/trees form a
solid natural barrier, they can be allowed,

The one where you slagged off Hungerford for being a small town by calling it a village.

In the past I have slagged off Hungerford for the style of football but that has changed and I am told that they now play the beautiful game. It would be a shame it that got them relegated.

Hungerford is may be a town but it is smaller than many villages. For example Lancing has a population of over 19,000 in the 2011 census and it grew are many more with populations of over 10,000.

Hungerford has a population of 5700 approx at the last census. Clearly bigger than a Hamlet but even if it is classified as a town. As the old saying goes “if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck”.

It's all to do with how we historically class hamlets, villages, towns, and cities.
A city has a Letters Patent allowing it be be called such. Population range - 1,481 (St Davids) to 1.1m (Birmingham).A town has either a Town Charter or Market Charter, but no Letters Patent. Population range - 850 (Llanwrtyd) to 215k (Northampton)
A village has a church, but no Charter or Letters Patent. Highest population is 19,000 (Lancing)
A hamlet has none of the above.
