Work is due to get underway at Newtown Park imminently. The last game on the grass surface was a testimonial match this afternoon. Bo'ness United still have three home league games to play: April 16 v Crossgates Primrose April 20 v Tranent Juniors TBC v Dalkeith Thistle Also League Cup preliminary round tie v Tynecastle on April 6. No word on venues yet. Bo'ness are still in the King Cup, albeit they've been drawn away in the third round, and would also be away in the quarter finals if they progress.

The second photo (foot of page) doesn't look like Bo'ness United's ground.

It is. The terracing in the background is the East End Terrace (Linlithgow Road end) When I was at the ground a year ago there was talk of a new main stand being constructed to replace the sadly lost grandstand. (see here: https://www.bonessunited.co.uk/about-the-club/newtown-park/) The new stand was apparently to be constructed on the North Side enclosure, however. Any news on this?

It is a medium-term intention.
