As Birmingham City and Aston Villa can't both play at home on the same day, will Coventry City have to move the majority of their home games at St Andrews to Friday or Sunday to avoid clashing with Aston Villa?

They say that a majority of "home" games will be played on Saturday as there seems to be little/no issue with clashing with Villa.

Could I ask that all contributors to this thread please remember to write "home" matches rather than home matches? Thanks.
Also Kirby Knitters is quite right; the authorities have no problem with CCFC matches being played the same time as Aston Villa.

I don't think there are problems between Villa and Coventry supporters so having both at home on the same day shouldn't be a problem, except for high profile games.

Is there a such a thing as unrequited hatred? If so it exists between Cov and Villa. Sly

I thought Villa's enermy would be the Blues and Coventry's enemy would be Sisu.

And Villa v Leicester comes into that category on Dec 7th so Cov v Ipswich go 24 hours later.

It would have been better for the dates to have been the other way around because there could be problems for Ipswich fans getting to game by rail (may be ok via Liverpool St) but Villa game would have pulled in 40k regardless.
