So exciting that it needed a teaser release just over 90 minutes before the official one (which only stated he was not announcing a Highland hop)I am of course now in such a state of excitement that I am keeping every weekend in 2019-20 free while I await details.

Not that I am aware of since their resignation last season. All fixture info was taken directly from the GHUK website.
I expect it is more likely to be Headington Amateurs.

Abingdon Town were originally quoted as an opposition but this was changed to Abingdon United so I expect GHUK's due diligence checks weren't that thorough

So where has Lord Groundhop got his info from? I still think the league could be over by the time we reach the hop if the weather stays decent.

Plenty of Hellenic games already scheduled over the Easter weekend according to full time so presumably they'll just re-jig the kick off times for the hop games.

If Long Crendon is not up to standard and they play at Oxford City. Then why does the ground suddenly become fit for a league game. Have the Hellenic League got no morals or backbone.

1) No2) This is Division 2? Long Crendon's ground may be OK for that standard, but they may have to play elsewhere so as they can apply for Step 63) Have they applied for Step 6?

Everyone at Thornbury is looking forward to being part of our first Groundhop weekend.

What are the average following at these? We want to make sure we stock up on programmes, badges and refreshments!

Typically in the region of 200-300, give or take. No idea what proportion of that would typically book through GHUK (thus guaranteeing their programme Wink) though.

Yes, it's been cancelled. From GHUK's latest newsletter it's partly because there's been so few postponements this year but also because "two of the hosts could be playing in the League Cup Final that weekend so had to be withdrawn, Newark havenít moved into their new facility yet, and Retford would be waiting five weeks between penultimate and final match of the season."

Good time up North, shame about Irlam but hopefully they didnít produce too many programmes (most of the others didnít) and didnít get too much food in.
But spare a thought for poor old Bezza, poor old boy has now got to dish out loads of refunds. I was led to believe those that brought the ticket paid £5 a game, but the rest of us only paid £4 at one game, £3 at another, concessions were available at another, and obviously the Irlam game being off means poor old Bezza is probably a very busy boy dishing out lots of £8ís, I didnít see him dishing out any cash refunds but no doubt the hoppers would have insisted on a handling fee.

Re: [youngster] All Hops Details Sticky [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

GHUK's individual match prices varied from £5-£7 but all included the match programme. Irlam was £7, not £8, which stacks up with the club's usual £5 adult admission charge and £2 prog. Rylands was £5 including a £2 prog, which suggests a £3 admission...though various WDYG reports this season suggest it's normally £4. So next time grab yourself a bargain and book through GHUK! Wink

Just for clarity - we have been told in the past that GHUK does refund for games that are called off.
As they keep a record of bookings, there would be no need for them to have anyone at the gate issuing vouchers

Chatting about this at last night's Norwich City U23 game and we thought the biggest issue would be trying to get clubs to switch to Sunday, as this would cause players to have to decide which team to turn out for. I'm also presuming the focus would be towards the top end of the AC but it will be interesting to see what materialises and if £5 is the going rate for a GHUK game best of luck getting locals (and others) to pay at most AC venues.

Watford FC supporter hence the name also follow Hull FC but rarely get to see either these days.

Have now visited over 800 grounds, progress in recent years has been rather slow and will continue to be as things stand.
