Should be possible to get something in the afternoon and still get to Easthouses for 5pm.

Might have to be Lothian or Border Amateurs but there are some great venues there.

Nearest East Juniors are in West Lothian with 2.30 kos so quite tight for getting to Easthouses.

I will, of course, provide full information nearer the time.

Are they even aware of it? id have thought so and surely it would have been easier just to bring in another fixture where such problems wouldn't arise.

The PDFL have confirmed that Stamford Lions will not be playing at Blackstones FC, instead they will be playing at Borderville which is adjacent to Stamford AFC:

https://twitter.com/.../1136570621561835521

Not sure whether its on the 3G pitch or if it'll be on an adjacent grass pitch.

So is that their regular home ground for 2019/20, or are they playing at a one-off venue to keep to keep Groundhop UK happy?

I can now answer my own question. Stamford Lions are sharing with Blackstones again for 2019/20, and the hop game is a one off.

This years Bedfordshire County League hop takes place on the 12th October.
First of all it's a visit to Haynes Village Hall for a 1030 ko to see Real Haynes. From there we head off into Luton and to the Luton Sixth Form College home to Stopsley United for a 1330 ko. Finally it's a short trip over to Dunstable CC for a 1615 ko to watch Lancot Park.
Admission is free to all games. Programmes will be available at 2. Food and drink available and Terry's badges will be there also. Travel can be arranged at 12 from Bedford Train Station.
Email [email protected] for more details.

Is Lancot Park at Dunstable CC the same pitch or venue that AFC Dunstable used in SSML approx. 10 years ago?

Not sure about A.F.C. Dunstable, but Old Dunstablians have certainly played there.

Re: [APL] All Hops Details Sticky [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

They changed their name to AFC Dunstable in 2004 but retained the nickname 'The OD's'. Saw them beat Kempston Rovers 1-0 in a Bedfordshire Senior Trophy tie in December 2005 on the pitch at the far end of the field. Also there was a suggestion at the hop on Saturday that game 2 hosts Stopsley United might be using the same ground as former South Midlands League club Ashcroft Co-Op, can anybody confirm this?
