Tuesday 03 April 2018
Badischer Cup.semi Final
CFR Pforzheim 4 FC Espanol Karlsruhe 1
Admission 8 euros to stand
Programme free
Badge 2 euros
Beer 2.90 euros

Ground about 20 mins walk from Pforzheim station.

A ground with a main stand and lots of open terracing ideal to watch game drinking a beer.

A well fought out game which the home side deservedly won especially after the away side were reduced to 10 men.

Pleasant way to spend an evening.

...and still, I assume at Holzhof
(When I went four years ago, it was scheduled to be the last game there)

CFR was formed in 2010 by a merger of the town's two teams, 1. FC Pforzheim and VfR Pforzheim.
They played at Holzhof, but they were due to head out to Brozinger Tal, with my game in May 2014 being the last game at Holzhof.

The reason for this was despite the club preferring Holzhof, they could only develop the other ground.

Holzhof is around a 20 minute walk from the station, through the town and across the river Enz
Brotzinger Tal is also close to the river, but on the other side. It is best approached from Sandweg S-Bahn station, three stops down the line.

They're still at Holzhof. Broetzinger Tal is still being developed by the look of it
