Might not be traditional yet but it could be if Tranmere get to join Fylde in League 2 at some point!😈

Alternatively I might head in the opposite direction and start a double at Sporting Khalsa, but Clevedon is ahead currently.

Just in case you're not already aware, the Khalsa game is being played at AFC Wulfrunians, their temporary home for a few months while their own ground at Noose Lane is having an artificial pitch laid.

Thanks for pointing that out, Sporting Khalsa had been my Plan A until I read that.

New plan is now Coventry Alvis v Atherstone Town at 12.30 followed by Coventry United v Heanor Town at 3.00

No obvious double in sight, so I am probably going for the nearest new ground:

3.00 Hartley Wintney v Marlow (Southern League Division 1 East)

But still plenty of time to change my mind....

Possible double for me in Essex: -
Saffron Walden v Haverhill Rovers at 12:00 and Aveley v Grays at 3:00. About 1 hour apart, so just hoping for good OK weather and no KO time switching. (Haverhill Borough at 11:am is an alternative first choice.
<><><>

Just seen the forecast, and it looks like Christmas night is going to be a very wet one. Haverhill Borough will be at home, as will Newmarket, so a double is still possible if the weather causes problems.

Re: [Dog Man] Boxing Day - Tuesday 26th December, 2017 [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

... had a lengthy ponder involving an early (11:00 KO) dip down into the western edges (hope I've got this the right way round) of the Southern Combination League Div One for :
Billingshurst v M&E.

Thought it might yield more options for 15:00 and was the only 'local-ish' early start as the CCL have 'withdrawn their services' this year -
- in the end there weren't that many feasible 2nd games in range anyway.

Ruled out attempting to penetrate the ring of steel that is the eastern arc/sector of the M25 on a Bank Holiday.

Options then reduced much further by car 'issues' - mine developed a misfire. The nice Britannia Rescue chap came to our house at some ungodly late hour yesterday.
-He plugged his fancy gizmo in; did some kind of re-boot/re-set so at least the emission light isn't on and he said it ought to be Ok to drive for while yet but advised we got some new plugs/leads or maybe even an ignition coil. None of these readily available round here on a Sunday/Xmas Eve.
My eldest chose to head off to Droitwich & back on the train today, rather than risk it.

I'm keeping it local and the obvious start point is Arbour Pk for SLP Slough v Farnborough - hadn't spotted that changing to a 12:00 KO.

Plenty of nearby 15:00s in range - might even attempt a blast back down the M4 for :

HELLP RWBT v Highworth though it might make more sense to try and get to

ILP T&M v Dulwich H. potentially clears up a new tick since neither of us can recall going there - though we have seen 'Bec' on the outside Caged-pitch.

Even more prudent would be a revisit of which there are good number close by and would not involve driving too far.

1100 - Honiton Town v Axminster Town - SWPL1E

1500 - Season ticket duty - AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United - Premier League

The loss of Honiton means no new ticks in the morning. Now looking at a revisit just over the Sussex border.
Selsey v Wick (SCFL1) just shades it over Chichester City v Pagham to see the High Street Ground in daylight as my only previous visit there was for a night game.
