The new season begins next weekend with a Merseyside derby in Cheshire! Everton, benefitting from Notts County's demise, return to the top flight entertaining Liverpool on Friday.

Three matches on Saturday 30th September offering potential doubles:
1230 Manchester City v Arsenal @ Academy Stadium
1730 Bristol City v Yeovil Town @ Stoke Gifford Stadium
1800 Sunderland v Chelsea @ ?
Sunderland's home fixtures currently still listed as being played at the Hetton Centre but rumours suggest they will now be playing home games at South Shields' Mariners Park, where they played Doncaster Belles today in a pre-season friendly.

It will be interesting to see how reverting to a winter season affects attendances.

That is njow confirmed, Sunderland are now playing their home games at South Shields this season.

For the game on September 30th, it would have been OK for Sunderland as South Shields were due to be playing away at Radcliffe Borough that day, now though they've been drawn at home to York in the FA Cup for that day so a re-arrangement will be needed
