He's a cyclist and rules and laws don't apply to many of them. I saw one yesterday at a crossroads which has pedestrian lights he cycled down the pavement at around 20mph, through the red light then cycled at 45% through all the pedestrians crossing then onto another pavement to continue his journey.

I ride a bike and quite often when I stop at a red light I get other cyclists behind me shouting abuse at me for stopping.

Me too, human nature never fails to surprise. To be fair i don't think this chap was a 'cyclist', just a geezer who had borrowed a bike to go get some fags, in a hurry. Had to chuckle when he wafted his arms at the train for being in his way

One of the biggest pains where I live are the Deliveroo cyclists. They are not adverse to travelling down the pavement at speed and I have posted on here before about one accident on the pavement involving one of these cyclists being badly injured as pedestrians parted and he hit a set of Sheffield racks at speed.

However, last Saturday I saw a Deliveroo cyclist ignore three successive red traffic lights and at the third this particular cyclist managed to bring an ambulance, with flashing lights and its siren blaring forth, to a complete standstill as the cyclist went right across its path.

The worrying thing is the recent arrival of Deliveroo motorised scooters that are starting to appear and are displaying the same reckless driving.

A cyclist doing something particularly stupid in city traffic? Not bright. I'm pretty sure that any collision might well damage the vehicle concerned a bit, but the cyclist……...
