Ned, Nurse Emanuel told me they changed the wording a few years ago when using needles.
From the old you'll feel a small prick to the present one of you'll feel a sharp scratch.
Much prefer a small prick to a sharp scratch ?

July 1, 2019 to June 30,2020 = 127 / 107 / 20 / 5 x 0-0's. (You know my rules) @ 07 / 12 / 2019 . Belgium top 5 tiers 0-0-0-(0-1-0)-(0-1-1-2) / Holland top 4 tiers - 0-0-0-(0-0) / Lux top 2 tiers 0 -2. England top 10 tiers - 0. Now blogging at https://eccentricity.video.blog/

I've been watching womens football for the first time really in this competition I mean on TV
Probably a topic that has been done before but what level in the mens game would you rate this football at? Football is football, I enjoy it all and I have to confess I was out tonight but still recorded the England v Portugal game so I could watch it when I came back.
I know it's a totally spurious question... I would put the level of football I am watching from womens International players at no higher than.... well I don't know what do you think?
I'm thinking every young girl who plays football wants to be a striker because some of the goals I have seen have been quite technically impressive but the goalkeepers? Omg they are awful... I mean every team 100% of the time.

I've been watching women's football for about 15 years and it has improved vastly in that period; players' first touches now seem as natural as in the men's game and attacking skill is excellent. As you say, goalkeeping tends to be the weak spot, although I do find this surprising given that it doesn't seem to be so much of a problem in women's hockey.

Ultimately I don't think it's possible to compare the level with the men's game due to the physical aspect. I suspect a decent Sunday league team would give the average women's national team a good game purely because they'd be able to knock most players off the ball/win headers/tackles relatively easily, although fitness may eventually tell. There have been several instances of women's national teams being heavily beaten by male youth teams (the US women's national team lost 5-2 to Dallas' u15 team and the Australian national team lost 7-0 to Newcastle Jet's u15 team).

A semi final against The Netherlands, both teams having won all their four games so far. As at the 2015 World Cup, it's a mightily impressive showing by England. Cool

So the underdogs (at least in terms of world rankings) won every quarter final. The Denmark-Germany game (at the second attempt) was particularly entertaining.

Great chance for England to win the tournament now, although the Dutch are definitely the side we didn't want to face in the semis.

Yet apart from the Scotland game (and maybe the 2nd half against Portugal) they've not really taken control of the games and have relied heavily on defence.

Wasn't a huge surprise. The weather out here has been switching from bright sunshine to heavy rain at the drop of a hat.

England have ridden their luck somewhat in games, especially against Spain and France. Towards the end of the QF I was starting to sense that France would score and England would have crumbled in ET.

Sorry folks but I for one am glad to see them out of this competition as I was getting sick of the blanket coverage they were receiving from the BBC amongst others.

England's luck finally ran out. Hit the post, cleared off the line, it just wasn't to be. Some of the England players did look a bit tired and heavy legged in the second half. This can't be fatigue fatigue from the domestic season which was only 9 games.
