And he's got what to do with Westminster exactly ?? May have been in a pub there, but that's as near as he's been.
Oh, and I think he's a self-obsessed tosser for what it's worth.

Can't we have a single thread that links Farage, Wetherspoon pubs, Arsenal & Wrexham v Chester?

Would dole wallah's be included under 'fighting scumbags & chavs/Wetherspoon pubs' or are they an extra category on there own?

He'll go down in history for what he has achieved, and of course he has done it without setting foot in parliament.

Just a decent honest and down to earth bloke who cuts through all the waffle and tells it like it is.

Inevitably somebody as successful as him will attract vitriol and bile from certain quartersCrazy!

He (along with his party) have been responsible for more lies and "economies with the truth" over the last 10 years than the other six main parties put together. An absolute weasel of a man.

Just what are your politics Gareth......?

Besides the immigrant issue and Europe, UKIP seem to me to be devoid of any real policies. Or have I missed something of significance?

Yet another smug, wealthy politician who pretends to sympathise with working class people, because he needs their votes for his extreme-right agenda.
A second Oswald Moseley, who unlike the original has learnt to avoid violence to achieve his aims.
It's no coincidence that people who vote UKIP have lower IQ's than those who vote for other parties.

Ive always had a problem with the way we Brits continue to define our fellow citizens in terms of their class. It always crops up in political discussion in the UK but hardly ever when the same discussion is held with the Dutch, Germans , Americans ....

I find the notion somewhat archaic.

I particularly like the view of the guy with the double barrelled name from Gillingham.

Decent? Honest? Cool I can think of other adjectives.

He'll certainly go down in history, but it'll be interesting to see how he's viewed in the long term.
