GOAL

Well done John, that's enough for me.
There were two elements to this either would have done, one was that intruders broke into loftus road and had painted perry buckland is innocent, buckland accused of a murder in North London I think, the other element was that in order to get the game on that day prisoners from wormwood scrubs were brought in to clear the pitch off snow, doodle had the right idea but wrong match.

Painted on the wrong side of the pitch so the match cameras missed most of it

In 1979, aged 17, he was a bouncer at a night club and was convicted of knifing to death student Ian Alexander there

Portsmouth gave him a trial on his release just 7 years later

also on line is -

"I knew Perry Buckland: he went to my primary school.
I was in his elder brother's (Terry) class and his younger sister was called Cherry.
I think he had a younger brother, too, Kerry, perhaps.

Though he was a year or two below me Perry was the school bully.
I was friendly with Terry so I wasn’t normally bothered.
But one time Perry forced me to climb a tree and wouldn’t let me down.

He was also very, very vicious to others – he was a little bastard.
I don’t remember him being at the school long – perhaps he was chucked out.

So it was odd when I saw the graffiti “Perry Buckland Is Innocent”.
Whilst he may not have been guilty of the murder
I knew that even as an eight year old he was never innocent."
