Wasn't too sure how many people saw this coming -

Germany 0-2 France

But, France have done well when they are hosting a competition - Euro 84' & World Cup 98'

Portugal v France in the Final - can France do it again?

I've just drawn the GERMANY ticket in the sweep-stake at work!

I shouldn't be counting my chickens just yet, but as the £60 top prize gets closer, I'm already mulling over ideas for a good tick to splash out on in August!

DOH!! Crazy

We can hope for Wales to make it to the final, but we all know it's a Portugal v Germany final.

Spot on windy as usual.😄

So it seems that there's no utterly pointless 3rd place play-off game. Great decision from UEFA.

Shame! I think that was England`s best result since winning the World Cup in 1966, 3rd in the European Championship in 1968 beating Soviet Union 2-0 after losing 0-1 to Yugoslavia.

The good old days, 4 teams qualified for finals.

A Semi Final won on toss of coin.

Semis & 3/4th /Finals played as double headers.

Final went to a replay.

Wow Portugal win it in Extra Time and without Ronaldo on the pitch - what a strange thing football can be

With Ronaldo actually appearing to be acting as a team player.

Strange indeed

Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Re: [Ropemaker] 2016 euro championships [In reply to] Can't Post or

Tweets around here say Eder who scored the winner was not even in the starting XI for Swansea when they lost to Oxford in the F.A.Cup. Think he might of been sub. Seems time and time again players who do not shine in our domestic do on the International stage and if they move to clubs abroad. I presume it is the Premier League uptempo type of play which seems to put more on fitness than skill. Yet 25 years ago we were told we would have to change our style of play to adapt, we have and it still does not work. The Welsh got further than England and both the Ireland sides matched England. There appears to be no pride to play for England and many players both English and overseas seem only to be here for the money and of course as is the case in Non League loyalty is dead.

Can I assume from the news that there was a large bet placed in the Wrexham area this morning on Andrea Leadsom becoming prime minister?

Portugal must be the worst team to have won the Euro's. Yes they went through the competition undefeated but 6 games played of which 5 were draws in 90 minutes.

The feeling of utter devastation when you pick up your mug and realise you already finished your tea.

But they won a group match and beat Portugal twice and only once going to extra time.
