Has to be Lutz Pfannenstiel, the much travelled German keeper. Played for 25 clubs and professionally in all six FIFA confederations, according to wiki the only footballer to have done so:

The list on the German wiki page is more comprehensive. Anyone could be confused with this list of clubs. Tongue He definitely never played in Portugal...

Clues were definitely there in the end. Just had to google "Goalkeeper most clubs" & Lutz Pfannenstiel's name came out on first entry, page oneSmile

TOR.....TOR............TOR........

Well done Michael - it is indeed the aforementioned Lutz Pfannenstiel who played top flight football in Norway with Baerum and in Albania with Vllaznia Shkodra whose main claim to fame - amongst many - is that he is to date the only footballer to have played professionally in all 6 confederations. The only first-team stint he had in England appears to have been at Bradford Park Avenue although he may have had the odd cup-tie at one of the other numerous clubs he pitched up at
I was given a copy of his book at Christmas - The Unstoppable Goalkeeper is a barely-believable tale of a journeyman footballer who'd go literally anywhere to get a game and whilst I'm not a great fan of football books, this is a great read.
