"Super Saturday" 24th May 2014, Dundee Saturday Morning League Can't Post or Reply Privately

It has turned out to be "Super Saturday" in the Dundee Saturday Morning League.
All three divisions will be settled on this last day, and all five relevant fixtures take place simultaneously at the same complex : all are 10am at Dundee University Playing Fields, which lies immediately to the east of Dundee airport, between the riverbank and the main A85 road into town from the A90.
Not that much of a walk back out from the station for those like me arriving by train (but don't stop at the first complex immediately alongside - that one is "Riverside").

Premier Div
Cannon Fodder v DC Athletic - title decider. Cannon Fodder are 2pts ahead of DC.

1st Div
AC Harleys v Ferry Mechanics - ACH need to win to guarantee the title.
Thomson's Accies v Dundee Rangers - if ACH don't win, a Dundee Rangers win would give them the title.

2nd Div
Fintry Shamrock v Kellys Gunners - a Shamrock win gives them the title.
Bridgend Athletic v Boyds Hibernia - if Shamrock only draw, a Boyds win gives them the title (on better head-to-head record with Shamrock).

Trophy presentation ceremonies will then be made.
"Going to be a cracking morning's entertainment. Sure to be a crowd along."

Immediately to the east at the Riverside complex there are a further 3 fixtures taking place, all with 10:30 KOs.
Perhaps there's a spot on the fence from which all 8 can be simultaneously viewed... Shocked

Out to the northeast of town at Drumgeith Park there are 6 simultaneous 10:30s, with the remaining 2 fixtures straight across the road at St Saviours School, also 10:30s.

Everything is on grass.

Then several Junior options for the afternoon.

- Plus Forth & Endrick 7pms for the evening, else
- 6pm at Broadwood there's a West Of Scotland Amateur League Challenge Shield SF.

And if coming up Friday :
- There is at least one Friday 7pm in the Forth & Endrick.
- In Dundee itself at 7:15 at Violet's ground there is the North Of Tay Cup Final.
- Whilst on Rosyth's ground (hurry, it will go) at 6:45 there is a Fife Amateurs divisional cup final.
