When it comes to the FAW and their appeal procedures, it's anybody's guess how long it will take. The fact that the first three weeks fixtures have been issued without matches for the clubs involved, suggests they think it will take three weeks, but knowing the FAW it won't be as simple as that.
The match in question where the ineligible (allegedly) player played was a month ago. It should all have been sorted out long before now. It's the usual shambles, I'm afraid.

Connah's Quay have released their letter of appeal to the FAW. It has been sent by special delivery to arrive at the FAW on Monday morning.

They then have 7 business days to prepare their case, which will take us to Wednesday 20 February.

The appeal will be heard probably on Friday 22 February in Cardiff.

Connah's Quay will be informed of the result of the appeal on 25 or 26 February.

They can either accept the decision or, if it goes against them, appeal to UEFA. They have the money to do this as the transfer of Rhys Healey to Cardiff City saw them receive a large six figure sum.

If UEFA reject the appeal, or refuse to hear it, then Connah's Quay can go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.

This process could take over a year to resolve.

Happy days.
