Strange that Dinnington would want to switch. Also, why Parkgate Reserves?

I know Dinno have had problems with their floodlights but thought they had been fixed, maybe they haven't.
Parkgate Reserves were in the Association Cup last season but probably requested a place in the Senior Cup to test themselves against stronger opposition after securing two promotions in a row.
Or maybe S&H cocked up AGAIN and put them in the wrong cup! Wink

Sorry Jamesie but I couldn't resist it since the Senior Cup is the ONLY thing 'The Tigers' are capable of winning these days and the only team likely to stop them is 'The Oldest Football Club In The World' as the finals of 1994 (yes, I was there) and 2005 will (painfully) testify. Unsure

BTW did you see that article in NLP recently from Victor Gladwish rubbishing your teams long history? I bet all at Sheffield FC were not amused.

I didn't but Chris Berezai passed the gist onto me last week via PM. With us having no game on during the week I haven't spoke to anyone about it. I guess it'll be dismissed as a load of [CENSORED] from a [CENSORED] who is [CENSORED]. Cool

Worksop have a nasty habit of losing to lower ranked opposition in the Senior Cup semi-finals and finals so your bet looks safe. The game is scheduled for April Fools Day! Crazy

Looking at going to this game on 21st as in Sheffield from 19-23 April and intending to visit a game each day. Relying on public transport but cant see a way back to Sheffield after a 745ko. Anyone with ideas?

Ask Jamesie for advice. Better still, be cheeky, and ask him for a lift. Wink

I've never met the guy but if you offer to go halves on the petrol I'm sure he'd be willing to consider giving you a lift. Smile

I would fellas, but I'll have a car full leaving the ground. A real serious thing with this though is to go to either Ian or Jon B (he also posts here) and ask if they could put a call over the PA for volunteers for a lift to Woodseats Police Station. A great deal of SFC punters pass this way (A61) on their way home and about ten bus routes head this way all going into Sheffield - it's the reason I have a car full. If there is a shy thing going on, then ask Craig on the gate to speak to me and I'll put the feelers out for you.

I'm really sorry if I've put any pressure on you to provide help where it's difficult to provide it Jamesie. I didn't realise there was such demand for the fixture and relevent transport.

No worries Dave. The "lift to Woodseats" thing is not confined to just midweek fixtures. Getting to Sheffield's far side (the north) is difficult on most days, that's including after Saturday games.
