Blurred Eurovision... Can't Post or Reply Privately

Eurovision is what it is..glossy hype and well regarded
by millions across the Europa League footprint...not my
'tasse de te' but I suppose they [its followers] can't all be wrong.

I would just love to see the head of the UK committee who selects
our choice of singer each year, to do an interview with somebody
like the Paxman and explain, as to why he/she woke up one day
and thought, 'I know, let's have a half dead septuagenarian to sing
for us this year.'

And for good measure, let's have him knocking out a dreary old ballad
that nobody has ever heard before - wow that's gonna knock 'em bandy - not.

As for the Swedes, they get some 20-something minx to belt out
a catchy house music song that has been doing the clubs for a while and has been
downloaded more times than the Hump has changed his 'bag'.

In the words of the immortal Frank Doberman....'oi Eurovision selection committee...NO!'

I thought the UK just entered the worst song they can find each, most of the population take the pee out of it or could not give tinkers, then employ an jovial Irishman to add to the piss taking and the BBC have a few hours of "light entertainment" .

"Former choirboy Bobby Ferris singing " Boom! Bang A Bang! Crash! Bang! Wallop! Up a puppet on a string!"

I predicted Sweden to win from Russia and got it spot on Wink
The grannies were brilliant Cool

As usual we don't seem to have a clue about what makes a winning song Crazy

I wonder whether the German presenter will be in trouble for her pointed comments ("it is good to be able to vote and it is good to have a choice. Good luck on your journey Azerbaijan, Europe is watching you").
