Let's be honest, it blends in seamlessley with the adjacent buildings so it's not surprising that Chris1963 never noticed it Smile

I have to admit I may have been mistaken - perhaps I should have used the word 'muslim' instead of 'blacks/asians' as I haven't seen any mosques in Oslo and Breivik did make it clear that the main focus of his hatred was the Islamic religion. The irony here is that he admitted to imitating Al-Qaeda in the way he carried out his attacks (ie; two separate but near-simultaneous acts.) I am sure if there had been the number of mosques in Oslo that there are in London, Breivik would have had a more tolerant attitude towards Islam.

In 2000 there were an estimated 56,000 muslims in Norway. In 2010 the figure was 144,000 and projections based on current birth and immigration rates are 359,000 for 2030.
There are 36 mosques in Oslo alone.

That photo looks like a bit of computer trickery to me...the only place I've seen twin minarets like these is Istanbul!

Or conversely Chris, you could always admit to being wrong and not having checked anything before posting. Here's a link to loads more trick photographs of the World Islamic Mission in Oslo http://www.google.co.uk/...biw=1404&bih=786

Does that mean by 2139 about 115% of Norway's population will be Muslims.

I must say I am impressed by the amount of research you have done but be careful - someone might get the impression you are a friend of Mr. Breivik himself!

I know; it took all of watching an hour-long documentary and half an hour reading up further on what I'd learned in order to try and make a bit more sense of it. The rest of your statement is of course nonsense.

Now complaining that he's being held in 'inhumane' conditions.

  • coffee is served cold
  • does not have enough butter for his bread
  • is not allowed moisturiser
  • his cell is cold
  • handcuffs cut into his wrists

Poor love!

So, is he in handcuffs 24 hours a day? The many bereaved people of Oslo will consider that good news.
And as for it being cold - well I would not expect Norway in November to be anything but.
I thought Norwegian prisons were supposed to be the most comfy in the world - prisoners playing basketball with female guards, that sort of thing.
