Getting in my Thursday shot as I don't think this one will be alive tomorrow morning.

G: The throwing of a billiard ball (no 8) at Tim Howard in Bergen (Brann v Everton 07/08).

No sorry Mip it isn't that.

Did the match involve either Everton or Bolton?

Panic shot as well - Feyenoord v Blackburn where a fan threw a glass of beer over Morten Gamst Pedersen leading to their disqualification and a bye for Spurs in the next round

No sorry Not that, as from an earlier post looking for something in association/relation to the match being played and not a specific incident. Also match was played on non EU territory.

Not 100% convinced by this but was it the first Manchester City game ever to be refereed by a woman, namely the 2008/9 match in the Faroes against EB Streymur?

Winner ! Winner !!!!!!!!

Paul this is very close to the correct answer but not exactly what I am looking for. I am going to give it to you as I would have let you have another go and it would be unfair to offer it to someone else as a tap in as it is close enough.

The answer I was looking for was that it was the 1st ever competitive match involving a premiership team to be refereed by a female official Nicole Petignat.

Good guess initially by Doodle who identified the correct match.

Over to you for 301.
