Well done Chris, I had a guess lined up for when I woke up (I was on nights last night) and it was NOTHING like yours.

Q: O/E?

Well done, Chris! You managed to pick up all clues and combine them the right way. I completely overlooked the existence clue.

Is whatever it is this time something European?

EDIT: ...oh, of course I should have asked if it is something easy we'll have guessed before midnight Wink.

Congratulations Chris! (And sorry for calling you Christ. Maybe it had something to do with the Hell diskussion, or maybe it was an indication regarding our expectations of you.)

It seems as if the most relevent question have not been asked yet.

Q: Is it something Swedish, Norwegian, Finland-ish or Danish?

OK, now I'm about to walk home. Freezing cold here. -17 degrees outside. -21 when I walked to my job. There definitely exists hotter places...

And here was me thinking that the cool breeze where I am had brought the temperature down to an unseasonal 82F...

Though I'll be back in sunny (?) UK in 2 weeks time.

Chris,

Is the person at the centre of this event still alive ?

Paddy/Buncranaboy, Can you clarify if this is a specific question ( two questions in one) as we have not yet established if 1,2,3 or more people or indeed if it is a person was at the centre of the event/occurence ?

If it is a specific question which looks like 2 questions in 1, I am happy to answer it or if you wish you can choose another question. I do not want to put you off. Apologies for appearing awkward but it does look like 2 questions in one.

Maybe you should have put..... one specific question Yes or no ... Are we looking for a person at the centre of this event who is still alive ?

Can't be there for the midnight shoot-out today so might as well have a go at:

The games in the Finnish Veikkausliiga in 2005 between Haka and Allianssi. Allianssi had only one defeat in their previous six games but were 5-0 behind after 21 minuntes and lost 8-0. As far as I remember, they had made wholesale changes before this game. Nothing was proven but Allianssi were fined a fairly small amount of money for "insufficient preparation".

No not that particular game Mip,

This game is progressing quicker then anticipated.Lots of good questions asked so far. I don't fancy being here tonight for a midnight shoot-out but you never know.Smile

I doubt if this will prevent the midnight scramble but you never know...............

G : The last-minute goal by Matthias Jonsson which kept Djurgarden in the Allsvenskan at the expense of Assyriska in the final match of 2009. They overturned a 2-0 deficit from the first leg with this extra-time winner in the Promotion/Relegation play-off.
