Twenty Questions #208   or Reply Privately

Okay, have thought of one - so hear goes at my first attempt. Bit of luck on the last one as could have still been several players to choose from but the Pele connection helped. Just also wanted to say I have been following this 20q link for a while and I am amazed at some of the overall knowledge of football trivia and facts about the game that a lot of you possess.

Good luck to everyone !

Well done Chris!

As it wasn't answered I think I can change my question. It's unbearable when you have to read through the whole thread not to repeat someone else's question - yes, I had asked the same question as Sean Blush.

Anyway, is it a ground?

No not a competition and alas not Dwarf football. Well my major concern as this was my first attempt was that I might hold the record for the shortest 20q post in this forums history but that record is now probably safe. Just a quick recap already,it is not a person, club, ground, piece of sporting equipment or a competition.

Yes, it is the usual event/occurrence catagory I have chosen, but not the 2010 world cup.

I knew that I would probably be asked this question, so without trying to give you misleading information the answer should be no, the event did not happen during a game of football. However on the other side of the coin, what happened during the game of football did lead to the event/occurrence eventually occurring.
I have probably given you extra information here by saving you from asking another connecting question.

I'll have a random guess. The events at Wembley 4th June 1977 after the England v Scotland game. The original "cross-bar challenge"??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQI9g5p8jn0

Another very interesting question, so without trying to mislead you and to hopefully give you extra help, I would say “Yes” the involvement of the game officials during the game was a minor factor into the occurrence/event eventually taking place. However there were far more significant factors during the game as to what the eventual occurrence/event was, due to of course what happened during the game.......I think that concentrating on the officials involvement during the game will not give you the answer unless you think way outside the box.
