Is it just me who thinks five weeks between the first and second legs totally devalues the semi-final - two weeks maximum, in my view

I thought it was odd too, double checked to see if it was maybe a typo for 22nd March, but it was not

Liverpool v Birmingham in the other semi have yet to arrange either date but could be the first to finish.

I'm surprised nobody has commented on the attendance, it seems very low for such an attractive game

I think it depends to some extent on how well the tie is promoted & length of time to do so.

This one was played fairly soon after Manchester City's previous round which was on a Saturday and had over 3K

but nothing on Arsenal's previous round at Tottenham which with 19K which was exceptionally high.

No I wasn't but what has that got to do with the question. Manchester City lifted the Youth Cup last year so surely an intriguing first leg semi final with favourites Arsenal should attract more than 2,615.

As far as I am aware Masnchester City also only produced a SS A4 "prog" as they did for last year's semi v Sunderland.

It is now usual for semi's to at least have a glossy 12pp prog for the semi and final.

Contrast that to Plymouth who produced that high standard for rounds 3, 4 and 5.

Thank you for the confirmation Les, the previous round at least had a coloured heading to it, albeit still a single sheet issue
