To reduce the likelihood of this happening, if you are 'quick off the mark' with your post, why not create it in MS Word or similar, then copy and paste into a new message board post. This saves having an 'open post' for several minutes while you type . . .

I think a slight addition to protocol is needed. When replying to someone else's post, especially a long post - please refrain from quoting the whole post. Most editors allow you to change what is in the quoted section. If all you want to say is you were there too, than simply quoting match details is enough. On the opposite side, if you are making a specific comment referring to something another has said, it does help to quote that, especially if there are two or three (or more) unconnected posts between them
