My eye was taken by the game at Avion, late enough KO to make a double with somewhere in Kent very feasible. However I then looked at the Shuttle and it appears to be fully booked late on Saturday night and all day Sunday, and the few ferry slots available to come back are at ludicrous prices. Must be loads of people coming back from trips away for the New Year. WHAT Credit Crunch ?

I had a walk around the new Calais ground today and thought its design was simplicity itself. Has anyone else seen it? Surely its the type of new ground which would be easy to build over here.
