And all I'm asking for is that you give Russell a gentle warning as well !

Doubt it, never even gave Frank/Gary warning over abusing Queen and country. Fence and sitting on spring to mind.

I have pointed out to Russell in the past that there is a difference between 'bullying' and 'disagreement'. I have explained to him that if his opinion is in a minority of one then he IS going to have a lot of other users disagreeing with him. He has to accept that or not post, that's the way life works.

As long as the personal stuff is cut out from those disagreeing then I don't see any problem. I'm not however going to make a judgement on whether the content of his posts are 'useful' or 'inane' or 'moronic' or whatever. It's too subjective and I really don't see that as being my role. I can only re-iterate what has been said over and over, if you have a problem with any particular forum member just ignore them as that is far more effective than starting a slanging match.

Unless you have access to my PM's you would not know whether that is true or not.

Could we stop all this stuff now please and let this hijacked thread get back on topic.

Thanks

Getting back to the main point of the thread :

All subject to the weather and satisfactory progress on my ark -

Monday Highgrove v Galgate (North Lancs)
Tuesday Hurst Green v Peel Park (East Lancs)
Wednesday Cotes Park v Shirland (MRA)
Thursday Stacksteads v Enfield (East Lancs)
Friday Stump Cross v Martins Nest (Halifax)

with some alternatives in the same leagues.

That's almost it for the early KO's although I hope to go to Swansea League the following week for my traditional "last game before winter". I suspect the games listed for Weds. 17th in Sheffield Senior may well not take place - it gets dark round there at night, you know .....

We have different lighting up here in the North you knowSmile.

The Senior League has always played a later midweek round than most, but I don't remember anything as late as the 17th before - the latest I recall is 15th of Sept in 2004.
We shall see.

Or not.

I don't think you are exactly qualified to comment, having once been banned from this Forum for unacceptable behaviour.

And I learned from it; I think you may soon be given a similar opportunity.

homophobia the other day, now personal attacks; give it a rest old fella

FAO Steve Walker - looks like there's someone wanting to keep Veteran company in the sin bin.

Please stop them dragging this forum in to the gutter.

FAO Steve Walker - Don't want to resort to personal abuse but I do feel the posts from this quarter are again getting abusive and moronic.

And if slagging off the Queen and supporting the IRA aren't dragging us into the gutter I don't know what is .....

If I make it back in one piece from Barca, I will be off to Cornwall on Monday with 'she who must (occasionally) be obeyed'.

So, Tuesday - Newquay Res Vs Penzance Res
Wednesday - Truro City Res Vs Godolphin Atlantic (or something) .. floods permitting.

Last new Ground :
20/11/2010, Old Barkabbeyians FC, Barking Abbey School (1085).
