Firstly, many thanks for all the kind wishes I have received on this board and others. These, together with the emails and PMs that I have received mean a great deal to me.

As most of you know, I have been diagnosed with bowel cancer and a secondary cancer on my liver. I have seen the specialist again today, and before he operates, he wants to ensure that it has not spread anywhere else; so I have been scheduled to have a PET scan sometime in the next 10 days or so. This is a scan where I have a dye injected into my blood which flashes strange colours on the scan in any "dodgy" parts. Once the results of this are known, the surgeon can then decide which parts of me he is going to cut away.

So I am home for the time being and trying to keep the main part of my site up to date which will include fixtures from the leagues when announced and FA cup draws next week.

I will still be visiting the message board as well but not as frequently as in the past. so my thanks to Steve and the other moderators for keeping it "under control"

Thanks once again to everybody for their support.

The least that can be done, any further help needed on here just ask.

As for the tests, all the best Tony. It goes without saying we are all thinking of you at this difficult time.

All the best mate,

Stu.

Just a note to anyone who is wondering, I am no longer a moderator of this forum due to current personal circumstances and work commitments. If you need help, contact leohoenig or Steve walker. Thank You.

Good luck and get well soon, Tony.

I'd just like to thank you for having this site and for opening my eyes to Non-League football. Since discovering this site a year ago I've had a lot of pleasure tracking the fortunes of the (very few) teams that I've visited.

Keep up the good work.

I have had a lot of requests from family and friends as to how I am progressing. One of them suggested I set up a blog to give them information. This seemed like a good idea so I have set one up. You can find it at http://health.tonykempster.co.uk

Wishing you the best fortune for what lies ahead of you. In setting up your blog you are showing amazing strength of character which I am sure will inspire many - not just those that have come across you because of non-league. but also others who are in a similar situation to you and who will discover your blog.
