Scottish League Fixtures Can't Post or Reply Privately

As there is no section for Scottish League I am posting this question here.
Why are there no Scottish League fixtures for the lower divisions between late February and late April, next season?
Is there a league cup to be played on a group basis on those dates?
Perhaps one of our Scottish posters could enlighten us.

Not sure where you were looking at the fixtures, but there are games scheduled through the dates you mention.

I'm sure that used to be the name of a nightclub in Edinburgh.

It wouldn't be the first Scottish League team to be named after a nightspot in Edinburgh then.

So the SFL season is two weeks longer than last with no New Years Day holiday matches and a gap on 28th March

I am assuming International dates for 6 Sept & 11 Oct and Cup ties 25 Oct & 29 Nov. Is 28 March another international?

I looked at the individual club fixtures on the BBC Sports website. Obviously an error there.
Thanks.

March 28th - Netherlands v Scotland. Possibly a home win.

It's been mentioned on here before that Heart of Midlothian are still a pub team.

Less than a month until their first game and still no manager in place. The parallels between Hearts and Gretna are obvious - one man's money, one man's whim, one man's decisions . . . . . thankfully I'm not a Hearts supporter, but if I was then I would be concerned about the very existence of the club.

Interesting that Divs 1, 2 & 3 are called off for an away international

Perhaps ironic then that Gretna's last game was v Hearts

Re: [John Treleven] Scottish League Fixtures [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

A large proportion of the Scotland travelling support is made up of the hard-core supporters of smaller clubs. There were many complaints when SFL games have been scheduled for the same day as Scotland games, home or away.

Rangers official supporters groups are currently campaigning for the club to refuse to release players for Scotland games and to withdraw from the Scottish Cup - in protest at what they believe is anti-Rangers bias in the SFA.

Rangers fans are also greeting because they have to play 3 of their first 4 SPL games away from home, including trips to Aberdeen and Celtic either side of the second leg of their Champions League Qualifying Round.

And they wonder why nobody likes them!

Celtic supporters, on the whole, do not support Scotland.
