UEFA U-19 Euros or Reply Privately

I have not followed this so far, but was then amazed by a tweet leading me to this link on the UEFA web site

I'll quote the lines on Ukraine, in case it gets changed before you read it

A win or a draw would be enough to make the semi-finals.
A defeat could see them through if England also lost. Goal difference, goals scored and disciplinary points would then come into play, in that order.

But actually, Ukraine will go through with a defeat so long as France do not beat England. This leaves France on 3 points (Ukraine on 4) or 4 (but behind on head to head as Ukraine beat France)

England do need a draw to be certain of going through

Fat AND Pompous.

Despite not qualifying for the semi finals, England have one further game to play on Thursday. As UEFA has five qualifiers for next summers World Under 20 Cup (in addition to hosts Poland), there will be a playoff between the two sides that finished third in their groups, England and Norway.
