History of Football drama series on Netflix or Reply Privately

A new Netflix drama series, 'The English Game' will tell the story of the creation of modern football, and how Etonians and factory workers "reached across the class divide to establish the game"

I've seen a few people already having misgivings about how accurate this is going to be. One would hope the producers engage reputable historians to help with the content.

If it's a TV drama then facts might be a bit fluid.

The feeling of utter devastation when you pick up your mug and realise you already finished your tea.

The chosen title doesn’t suggest accuracy will be all that high.

I wonder if this was the inspiration.
