It's full official name does have a prefix of the type you mention but they are not commonly referred to with it included.

Back to a few months ago when you were reading my mind.

The crowd are going wild - it IS leading Dutch Amateur club IJsselmeervogels. Superb name, officially preceded by "V. V." and they have a very attractive ground - next door to Spakenburg's which is also nice.

For the uninitiated their name derives from the IJsselmeer, the lake formed when the Zuider Zee was separated from the North Sea by the Afsluitdijk in 1932, and Vogel which is the Dutch for bird.

Well done, Jamesie - superb fifty yard lob straight over the keeper !
