     Twenty Questions # 135 or

About time I won one ! The Olympic in Stockholm really is a superb stadium to look at, but is in fact not the best for watching football. But well worth making the effort nonetheless.

Right then, folks - get those questions coming in, although I am away for the weekend so the answers will dry up from the middle of tomorrow till Monday !

Ball now rolling along the line - who's going to get there first to tap it into the net ?

Is it a league emblem flag thing? (the sort that might be flown above a ground - getting very technical!)

Oh, dear - Houston we have a problem. The above answer is indeed correct - the flags placed level with the halfway line, optional according to the Laws of the Game, and which seem to be disappearing almost completely. I have certainly not noticed any anywhere abroad and only occasionally in this country these days ...

However this appears to me to be your second guess of the day , having previously said "is it a pennant" although I suppose you might argue this is a general question rather than a specific guess.

Accordingly I am referring the matter to the third umpire (Vienna) for a definitive decision !!

It seems that Angus is taking ages. For what my tuppence worth is erm... worth... Nick B has won this one. But as an ongoing little suggestion, why don't we agree to put a "Q" before a question and an "A" before every GUESS??? As I say, it is up to you guys... I am moderator on this one, but I want to keep it democratic.

Everyone take heed, I'll add it to the top note when I'm a little more sober, but I reckon it'll save a ton of arguments... Woody, is it over to Nico? Anyone object?

Re: [Jamesie] Twenty Questions # 135 or

Yes - I'm happy with that. I was going to suggest we rule not out as the video ref. is clearly not available but I do agree with your clarification. I still don't quite know how we deal with the situation where a question is also a potential answer (in the instant case the solution could have simply been a pennant) but maybe I'm just being a GOM and pernickety ?
