Are you still going on?Shocked

Only because you suggested so in #118.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve with your links, especially as Lineker hasn't said Wenger should go and Tony Adams is hardly an authority on football management. You'll be giving us links to Piers Morgan's blinding insights next...

To sum up, I believe Wenger staying is the right decision but can understand why some may have an opposite view. On the other hand, you, Piers and a minority of fans think he should go, but you in particular still seem utterly incapable of understanding the opposite view despite having it presented to you on a plate.

There is no rational opposite view!

As you are very certain of your viewpoint could you please share with me who you have in mind to take over the task of bringing success to the club.

That is a totally separate issue.

Do you ever actually speak to any Arsenal fans and hear their opinion? They don't want to hound Wenger out, they would rather he bowed out gracefully of his own volition but clearly that's not going to happen. Wenger has become bigger than the club.

No I haven't spoken to any Arsenal fans although I have read your views. I wonder if the ones I haven't spoken to also have no views on who the replacement should be.

You'd have thought anyone who's so adamant that Wenger isn't the best man for the job - to the extent of dismissing any other view as irrational - would have at least some idea of who'd be a better man for the job. Not to would be the very definition of irrational!

Exactly, he last one the league 13 YEARS AGO!

During the same period Chelsea have won five titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League and the Europa League.

I really can't see what gooners are moaning about can you?Crazy

Only the blinkered would think Wenger was a good manager, I think Jose Mourinho's 'specialist in failure' jibe was very apt. All he's done for the club? Like what exactly?

Personally, I think Wenger would be advised to step down and take things easy, however he obviously still has the burning desire to be involved and try for glory.

But the idea that he's not a good manager?! That's a bit far fetched isn't it?

Well that's obviously subjective but his record over the last 13 years hasn't been great compared to Chelsea and Man Utd.

The opinion that does count is the fans, you know the ones who pay Wengers wages?

The fans don't pay the manager's wages any more than they pay the players wages. Sky and the board pay the wages, far more so than any money coming in through the turnstiles.

If finishing fifth and winning the FA Cup is as much as a disaster as you seem to think it is, (and being in the top four for twenty consecutive years before that) join the real world where teams struggle both on the pitch and financially, occasionally get relegated and even go out of business.

What would be your realistic expectations for A.N.Other manager, in say year two (to give him/her a few transfer windows to build a squad of their own choice)?

The barometer is Chelsea not Leyton Orient!

It's not my expectations but that of fans, who aren't fooled by Saturdays win.
